FUE hair transplant
FUE hair transplantation is today one of the most practiced medico-aesthetic procedures in the world.
By the excellence of its results, and its great lightness, it is the very example of a state-of-the-art technique, where the infinitely large has given way to the infinitely small, just as the infinitely coarse has left the place to the infinitely refined.
Due to the miniaturization of the instrumentation, the dreadful results in “fields of leeks” or “doll's hair” are now a thing of the past.
Thus, men and women, who are constantly increasing in number taking care of their bodies and their physical appearance, can now be assured that the result obtained will meet their expectations.
FUE hair transplant at CSHP
The CSHP program, for the treatment of baldness, responds to an unequivocal positioning: Expertise and Advice .
Because each patient is a different case, and because hair loss is progressive, we have made the consultation a key moment in our treatment process .
The doctor/patient relationship is therefore at the heart of our concerns, as much as the techniques we use to achieve the results we have set ourselves.
The consultation will be long and detailed. Our discourse will be that of Transparency and Truth .
Our entire care protocol will be personalized, and will always take into account the present situation of the person who consults us, inviting them to project themselves into the future.
It is on this condition alone that we will always be able to guarantee the excellence of our results.
Indications for FUE transplant treatment
Hair transplantation for everyone, provided you follow a few common sense rules.
FUE hair transplantation is indicated for the treatment of all forms of androgenetic baldness in both men and women.
The conditions for success
Care by a medical team at the height of expertise.
The mastery of consultation
Only a detailed consultation at the CSHP center will make it possible to indicate to the patients who will honor us with their visit, the best strategy adapted to their case.
It will be, at this moment, the moment to explain everything, in particular the course of the session as well as its consequences.
It goes without saying, if we want to be in an approach of ethics and honesty, that we will also be able to reject the indication when it is a question of noting that the baldness is too important and that the graft, even after several sessions have been completed will not allow patients to have enough hair back to allow them to style their hair properly.
We will also be particularly careful to give the best advice to our youngest patients, who are always very motivated to resort to hair reimplantation, and sometimes in a reckless way, as their hair loss is still minimal.
Technical mastery is knowing how to use the best procedures, but also knowing how to adapt to each case, and therefore knowing how to question yourself at all times.
Beautiful and often spectacular results
The results will be all the more magnificent and spectacular if it has been decided to treat a single area, whether it is the frontal area or the area of the top of the skull.
Thus, the regained density due to the reimplanted hair will be greater, and will make it easier to comb your hair, and will further increase the aesthetic result.
Transplanting an entire head, in a single session, can only be considered in exceptional cases of stabilized baldness, and donor areas of exceptional quality.
Hair transplant techniques
The technique was
shema wasThe FUE technique is part of a global treatment protocol. It is the only technique practiced in our center.
Performed under local anesthesia, the FUE transplant will be performed on an outpatient basis, in a few hours by the doctor and the team in charge of helping him without his task.
The hair will be shaved at the level of the region of the neck at the place of sampling.
Micro-sampling and micro-implantation
The grafts, which correspond to the follicular unit removed, will be formed from 1 to 4 hairs.
They will be removed by means of a micro motor, and implanted by means of micro forceps, with a constant concern to create the minimum of trauma at the level of the removal zone as well as the implantation zone.
The micro-drillings will not exceed one millimeter in diameter, so that the residual scars remain undetectable, even hair cut very short in the nape of the neck.
Optimization of results
In order to ensure maximum results, we may be able to graft implants of slightly larger than average size, on the region of the top of the skull or the tonsure, in order to obtain a better density on the implanted region. , when the hair has grown back.
This technique, which will, once again, be adapted to each case, taking into account the texture of the hair and its color, will combine aesthetics and density.
At the level of the frontal region and the gulfs, we will favor follicular units containing one or two hairs, so that the aesthetic result approaches perfection.
The hair will be reimplanted respecting the natural orientation at 45 degrees of inclination.
The FUT technique
The FUT technique is not practiced in our center. It corresponds to the hair transplant by strips .
For the record, it consists of removing a flap of skin from the neck which corresponds to the donor area.
This sample, one centimeter wide by fifteen to twenty-five centimeters long, will then be re-cut under a microscope or under a binocular magnifying glass, in order to isolate, one by one, the follicular units which will then be manually reimplanted in the same way as in the FUE technique using micro forceps.
This technique is still very interesting, especially in the possibility it offers to vary the size of the graft as desired, but also to save the donor area by taking from a limited area of the scalp, unlike FUE. which requires sampling from a larger area.
Its two biggest disadvantages relate to:
At the appearance of a horizontal scar, secondary to the removal, which can sometimes be a little widened if the scalp is tense, and therefore more or less visible in the case of very short cut hair
The possibility of more or less intense pain in the sampling area for a few days as well as a possible feeling of tightness for several weeks.
La technique IFA
The IFA technique is a hair transplant method that can transplant up to 3000 hairs without pain and without scarring.
This method is similar to the traditional "FUE" transplant technique because the grafts are taken directly from the donor area and then reimplanted. The difference lies in the use of a PUNCH HAIR MATIC® handpiece, which saves time for the medical profession because it is efficient, precise and fast. The grafts are much less likely to be damaged.
Unlike other techniques, the "micro-grafts" measure from 0.8mm to 1mm compared to others up to 2mm leaving behind a scar.
This technique treats both beginner and advanced baldness in men and women. It also helps rebuild eyebrows or hide hairless scars.
The DHI technique
The DHI transplant technique is a method of hair transplantation performed using an implanter pen (otherwise known as Choi Pen). The grafts are taken individually from the donor area and are then directly transplanted into the recipient area. This technique differs from FUT and FUE transplants because the extracted hair follicles do not remain stored and prepared and therefore remain in the open air for less time outside the body.
The DHI transplant is one of the most expensive compared to other techniques and requires access to hair transplant operating areas which happen to be limited. The complexity of the intervention may affect the extraction and implantation process which may subsequently cause damage during manipulation of the grafts.
Our center uses a strategy, during FUE transplantation , which acts in the best interest of the patient and which bears fruit. This strategy is the FUS strategy , it consists of a certain reflection taking into account several factors in order to have the best results at the end of this transplant. There are 4 major treatment classes ranging from FUS 1000 to FUS 4000 . This corresponds to the number of implanted hairs, however apart from these 4 main classes are also taken into account the number of implants, the type of baldness and the choice of techniques.
The results are better when there is only one treatment zone, this zone corresponding to the SCALP zone (region reimplanted as a priority at each session). Furthermore, the treatment of two areas remains correct if they are small in size and if the density is moderate, which will allow the number of implants to be distributed over a larger area. Thus, these regions can also be organized into 4 groups taking into account only the treated region:
SCALP zone 1: the frontal zone and / or attic
SCALP zone 2: time zone
SCALP zone 3: vertex zone (top of the skull)
SCALP zone 4 : zone tonsurale
The FUS strategy requires a great reflection which will not be limited to the implantation of the greatest number of implants in a single session or a search for performance.
The objective is to obtain the best result while retaining as much hair as possible in the donor area. Indeed, with the exception of perfectly stabilized baldness, the hair must be taken from the region where the hair will never fall, that is to say towards the neck. It is important to take into account the various factors such as a progressive baldness where it will not be necessary to take hair too close to the top of the skull because that would amount to reimplanting the vacuum (limited life of the hair).
Our mission is to combine strategy and adaptation in order to achieve the best results and to satisfy our patients as much as possible.
Follow-ups and results
You will leave the CSHP center without any bandages, and will be able to wash your hair the next morning.
It will form at the location of the implantation of small scabs which will disappear in one to two weeks.
Healing in the region of the sample will be even faster.
You will not feel, a priori, any pain after your session; just a possible feeling of discomfort.
Hair will begin to grow back on average after 3 months. The final result will be judged after 8 to 12 months.
It will be possible, on the other hand, that you present an edema at the level of the face during 3 to 4 days, and this in the event of reimplantation at the level of the frontal region.
This oedema, due to the act itself having imposed the injection of a certain quantity of saline solution under the skin, will resolve spontaneously in a few days.
In a small percentage of cases, it may appear in the months following the session, small pimples, identical to pimples following an ingrown hair, called micro cysts.
This small inconvenience will also resolve itself, or, if it persists too long, will be treated by a small adapted medical treatment.
It will not be uncommon to observe a transient loss or decrease in sensitivity at the site of the sample or the implanted region. This feeling will last from a few weeks to a few months, and will resolve on its own as well.
Finally, depending on the extent of your alopecia , know that you can, in your entire life, perform between two and four hair transplant sessions, to be planned according to your desire and the evolution of your hair loss.
A follow-up visit will be scheduled 2 weeks after your hair micro-graft session
