FUE hair transplant
For a precise, painless and scar-free hair transplant
Until a few years ago, hair transplantation was a heavy and painful procedure offering unnatural results leaving behind unsightly scars.
Fortunately, the evolution of hair transplant techniques now allows us to offer a more efficient and less invasive alternative: the FUE hair transplant .
This innovative technique of capillary micrografting makes it possible to permanently treat alopecia in a painless and scarless way while offering natural results.
Performed with high-precision equipment, this technique consists, first of all, in taking hair (grafts) from the back of the skull (donor area) where the hair is generally in large numbers and particularly resistant.
These grafts are then reimplanted one by one on the areas devoid of hair (recipient areas) following the paths defined upstream with the patient.
Procedure of the intervention
Before the intervention:
A first consultation with Dr. Sebbah Simon is essential to ensure the feasibility of the intervention, explain the treatment and eliminate any cause of alopecia that can possibly be treated with medication.
The doctor then establishes with the patient the number of hairs to be reimplanted as well as the areas to be treated.
During the operation:
The operation is performed under local anesthesia. The grafts are taken from the donor area, previously shaved, then reimplanted into the recipient area(s).
Depending on the number of hairs to be reimplanted, this procedure lasts between 3 and 8 hours.
After the procedure:
Following the intervention, the patient must observe a rest period of 5 to 7 days in order to optimize the taking of the grafts as well as the healing.
A post-operative protocol will also be prescribed to the patient and a follow-up will be scheduled.
The result will be progressively visible and definitive 9 to 12 months after the hair transplant.
Following the intervention, the scalp may be slightly sensitive within 3 to 4 days following the transplant. A local treatment will be prescribed to soothe the discomfort.
From the 7th day following the intervention, the scabs formed on the sampling area and around the grafted hair disappear.
