FUE AND DHI HAIR TRANSPLANT
WHAT IT IS:
The FUE transplant is the most accredited among the methods to definitively solve the problem of hair loss. Since this is a real cosmetic microsurgery, the problem of baldness is tackled at its root.
The FUE transplant represents the definitive solution to the loss as it solves the problem forever. You will have your own hair, natural and lasting as if it had never been affected by baldness.
The transplant is effective not only for people suffering from androgenetic alopecia, but also for men and women who have receding hairline and thinning, trauma scars or traditional hair implantation and can also be performed for men on the face in case of mustache and beard.
The transplant consists of first taking the follicular units from the donor area. Subsequently, after a careful selection, the extracted bulbs are manually replanted in the recipient area, that is the part affected by thinning.
Once the bulbs have been grafted, the regrowth of hair inside them is completely natural and you just need to have the patience to wait a few weeks.
The transplant has become the fashion of the moment and many VIPs have already done so.
Thousands of Italians have already carried out an implant and the satisfaction rate is 99%.
The DHI method
At the discretion of the physician, the DHI method may sometimes be preferred over the FUE.
Summarizing as much as possible, it can be said that this method is preferable for those with thick and straight hair, while it is not recommended for those with very thin hair.
With the FUE method, the bulbs are first extracted from the donor area and then subsequently implanted in the micro incisions previously created.
The DHI method allows the site creation phase to coincide with that of the graft implant which occurs at the same time.
It is therefore not necessary to create the incisions first because thanks to the use of the implanter pen (Choi), which has a hollow needle inside where the previously extracted follicle is inserted, the incision and grafting phase coincide.
The procedure requires the needle to be inserted at an angle of 40-45 degrees into the scalp by the surgeon.
It should be noted that also in this case (as with the FUE technique) the transplant is performed under local anesthesia, without any pain on the part of the patient.
Advantages of the DHI method:
-You can avoid shaving (it is therefore preferable with the ladies);
- The follicles remain outside the body for a shorter period of time, stressing less;
Overall, the patient's recovery is faster;
- Reduced trauma not only for the follicles but also for the recipient area of the transplant;
-It is more expensive than the FUE method;
-It requires extreme accuracy in its execution, and for this reason the medical team that performs it must have great experience.
