What is the treatment with the FUE and DHI technique?

What happens after the transplant?

After the surgery it is advisable not to touch the affected part in order not to promote infections; The area will in any case be protected by a protective bandage which can be removed after about 10/12 hours. The head can be washed after 2 days from the date of surgery using, only at the beginning, the products indicated by the doctor.

What are the contraindications?

First of all, it is necessary to understand whether the intervention can be performed or not; the first and most important impediment may be due to the fact that even in the donor area (the nape of the neck) there is not a sufficient amount of hair. What does the DHI transplant technique consist of?

Summarizing as much as possible, it can be said that this method is preferable for those with thick and straight hair, while it is not recommended for those with very thin hair.

With the FUE method, the bulbs are first extracted from the donor area and then subsequently implanted in the micro incisions previously created.

The DHI method allows the site creation phase to coincide with that of the graft implant which occurs at the same time.

It is therefore not necessary to create the incisions first because thanks to the use of the implanter pen (Choi), which has a hollow needle inside where the previously extracted follicle is inserted, the incision and grafting phase coincide.

The procedure requires the needle to be inserted at an angle of 40-45 degrees into the scalp by the surgeon.

It should be noted that also in this case (as with the FUE technique) the transplant is performed under local anesthesia, without any pain on the part of the patient.
