Hi friends, today I share my hair transplant with you!

So, many of you have asked me questions about my hair restoration , so I will answer them while illustrating my remarks with photos taken during my transplant. Be careful, some images may offend the sensibilities of the youngest????

When did you start losing your hair?

I started to lose my hair very young, around 20 years old, as you can see in this "magnificent photo" . My golfs are seriously starting to pack up…

Are you afraid of ending up with a Tintin haircut later: just the hair transplanted in front and bald behind?

So it's a very good question, indeed it is very important to take into account the evolution of your baldness before performing a transplant. In my case, and knock on wood, my baldness has stabilized for about 5 years. But it is not excluded that I will still lose hair in the next 5, 10, 15 years. This is why it is very important to manage your donor area well during your first transplant. Especially for those who want to do a very young hair transplant around 20 – 25 years old. If they are scheduled for a Norwood 7, they will most likely have to do another transplant later. As a reminder, the Norwood scale is a universal classification that serves as a benchmark to determine the different stages of androgenetic alopecia. For example me, at 35,

Where did you perform your hair transplant and why?

I chose the DHI clinic in Paris, in the 17th arrondissement, mainly for 3 reasons:

  1. The possibility of having a free, anonymous first diagnosis, directly by email by simply sending photos of your baldness. Besides, I put the link HERE if you want to do it.
  2. The method used, DHI, is an evolution of FUE and allows implantation without scars, with a natural and high density rendering.
  3. And that's the most important thing for me: their results. Indeed, I looked at their before / after photos on their site and wow, it's still super bluffing.DHI before afterAnother example that I find phew is Jean Michel Mayor of TPMP who carried out his transplant at their home. The result is just ultra natural and super well done!jean michel mayor before after

Another very important point: they accepted that I film my transplant, the evolution and of course the result. Knowing that if the result is missed it will necessarily give them bad publicity. So I said to myself that they really had to be sure of their technique and especially of the result. And that really reassured me.

How much does it cost ?

At DHI, the clinic where I performed my transplant, prices range from €2,900 to €9,900 including VAT depending on the area to be treated, the desired density and therefore the number of hairs transplanted. For my hair restoration project, they transplanted me more than 2800 hairs, which corresponds to a MEGA session for them and which is charged 6900€. Namely, they can transplant up to 10,000 hairs in a single session. Fortunately , they offer payment facilities!
