Planning Your Hair Transplant
Organizing the intervention is a moment of fundamental importance for the success of the transplant. In order to avoid misunderstandings, it is good that the patient already has a clear and thoughtful idea of the hairline he wishes to have before the surgery and of the follicular units FU (hair density per square cm) that can be obtained with the intervention of cosmetic surgery in your specific case.
The design of the hairline should not be underestimated, it is better to have an idea and maybe change it several times than to arrive at the clinic on the day of the surgery and having to find the solution in ten minutes. For this reason, we ask the patient for photos of the bald area, the donor area and photos of the front line (hairline).
The patient's needs must then be mediated by the professionalism of the cosmetic surgeon who will verify their feasibility by evaluating the capacity of the area from which to take the bulbs (donor) in relation to the width of the hairless area (recipient), to the number of operations carried out previously and at the age of the subject, offering different alternatives and recommending the best path to follow to obtain an excellent result. Not all patients have the same goals, each subject is different, the achievable results are different from person to person and therefore each intervention will be personalized and guided by the doctor.
For proper forehead line planning:
We ask the patient for recent photos of the hair, possibly well lit and in high definition, so that the Doctor in Turkey can express his opinion on the operation.
We ask the patient for a photo of him before hair loss, where necessary. This is to determine the natural attachment of the patient.
We await the medical feedback (number of bulbs, conditions of the intervention, duration of the transplant, particularities, etc.) and communicate it to the patient. Then the patient will choose whether to undertake the transplant or not.
In the stages of alopecia not yet very advanced, a reference point to lean on for drawing the front line is the midpoint of the natural hairline. Its distance from the midpoint of the eyebrows varies from 6 to 10 cm.
Particular attention is therefore paid to the design of the front area which, due to its aesthetic characteristics, requires greater thickening and specific precautions to ensure that it takes on natural characteristics.
If you have specifics about hair transplantation:
Send us a picture of yourself where you draw the edge of your ideal hairline (where you want your hair to go). Which must be adapted to the aesthetic needs of the subject in the different ages of his life, avoiding errors, such as too low a hairline and excessive filling of the receding hairline.
Send us a picture of yourself where you draw the area from where you want to take the hair.
We will notify you within 1-2 working days at the latest if the transplant is feasible according to your specific needs.
Furthermore, if you want to roughly calculate the number of bulbs that should be transplanted to solve the problem, you can use sheets of paper to apply to the bald area and measure their width, or create geometric designs and measure them. Subsequently dividing the amount of bulbs you need with the total cm of the bald area, you will get an approximation of the number of
