Autotransplantation with F.U.E.
The FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) technique is a very innovative and minimally invasive autotransplantation surgical practice with which single follicular units between the occipital and parietal area of the head are taken directly and implanted in the area requiring grafting.
The hair is taken from the back of the head and this happens for two specific reasons: in the occipital and parietal area the hair density is greater; this allows you to take many follicles and transport them to the area that needs transplantation without noticing any lack of hair in the donor area.
Definitive results because they are not subject to the action of androgens
Removal of the individual's own follicular units and their reimplantation
No incision with the scalpel in the reimplantation of follicular units
How is the intervention carried out?
The autotransplantation with the F.U.E. it is performed through two fundamental steps. The first consists in the removal of the follicular units through a real "coring" of the scalp, using a technologically advanced equipment called punch or monobulbar micromotor. The second phase is the reimplantation of the follicular units without any incision, but only with the puncture of a micro needle. The removed units thus find accommodation in the area to be thickened, following the precise design arranged in the pre-operative phase in microsurgically created alveoli. The bulbs then find their new location without any scalpel incision.
The Advantage of the F.U.E.
In the occipital and parietal area, the hair is resistant to the action of DHT and therefore is genetically immune to androgenetic alopecia. The bulbs located in the back area of the head remain productive of hair for life, so even if they are transported and grafted in the front or upper area (bald area), as in the case of the FUE technique. It is also a painless technique that allows you to return to your everyday life in a very short time.
Transplanted hair will no longer fall out for life, but non-transplanted hair will always continue to fall out. Hair loss in men is a continuous and incessant process that occurs at all ages, albeit to a lesser extent after the age of 35. This is why it is important to continue a curative path with treatments to maintain existing hair for a long time.
