THE ULTIMATE SOLUTION TO HAIR LOSS.
Hair transplantation, or rather self-transplantation, given that one's own follicles are implanted and are extracted from a different part than the destination, is a procedure that gives safe and long-lasting results. The bulbs to be transplanted are taken from the nape, that is, from that part of the head where they are generally much thicker and it is therefore possible to take the quantities necessary to thicken other areas where the hair has thinned over time. The two most used procedures are called FUE and DHI.

What are the benefits of transplantation?
The solution of the problem is guaranteed and after a few months, from the transplanted bulbs, the hair will begin to grow according to its natural growth rate.
The other important advantage is that no hospitalization is required.
What is the treatment with the FUE and DHI technique?
The FUE and DHI techniques provide for the removal of the bulbs from the nape of the neck or from another donor area and the subsequent transplant, one by one. Generally the most used technique is the FUE technique.
What happens after the transplant?
After the surgery it is advisable not to touch the affected part in order not to promote infections; The area will in any case be protected by a protective bandage which can be removed after about 10/12 hours. The head can be washed after 2 days from the date of surgery using, only at the beginning, the products indicated by the doctor.
What are the contraindications?
First of all, it is necessary to understand whether the intervention can be performed or not; the first and most important impediment may be due to the fact that even in the donor area (the nape of the neck) there is not a sufficient amount of hair. These are assessments that only the doctor can make.
In the infographic that follows the steps of transplantation with the FUE technique.
At the discretion of the physician, the DHI method may sometimes be preferred over the FUE.
What does the DHI transplant technique consist of?
Summarizing as much as possible, it can be said that this method is preferable for those with thick and straight hair, while it is not recommended for those with very thin hair.
With the FUE method, the bulbs are first extracted from the donor area and then subsequently implanted in the micro incisions previously created.
The DHI method allows the site creation phase to coincide with that of the graft implant which occurs at the same time.
It is therefore not necessary to create the incisions first because thanks to the use of the implanter pen (Choi), which has a hollow needle inside where the previously extracted follicle is inserted, the incision and grafting phase coincide.
The procedure requires the needle to be inserted at an angle of 40-45 degrees into the scalp by the surgeon.
It should be noted that also in this case (as with the FUE technique) the transplant is performed under local anesthesia, without any pain on the part of the patient.
Advantages of the DHI method:
-You can avoid shaving (it is therefore preferable with the ladies);
- The follicles remain outside the body for a shorter period of time, stressing less;
Overall, the patient's recovery is faster;
- Reduced trauma not only for the follicles but also for the recipient area of the transplant;
-It is more expensive than the FUE method;
-It requires extreme accuracy in its execution, and for this reason the medical team that performs it must have great experience.
